Welcome to Flora helping Fauna, the home of plants helping animals.

A holistic wellbeing service that will help your animal friends find complete Well-being.

I use a beautiful fusion of zoopharmacognosy (self-selection) and traditional Chinese 5 element theory. Chinese medicine helps me understand the root cause of any imbalance, then we offer natural botanicals for Self-selection to start their healing journey. This system enhances any healing modality, and empowers animal guardians to support their animals and understand their natural needs.

Using Animal PsychAromatica, the completely holistic natural health system founded by Nayana Morag, I will help you help your animals.

APA is NOT an aromatherapy practice translated to animals. It is an holistic approach to animal health that focuses reducing stress and providing each individual with their specific needs, as either a domestic or captive animal.

*DISCLAIMER*

Please note Flora helping Fauna is NOT an alternative to Veterinary care. I am NOT a Vet and therefore can not diagnose, treat or prescribe anything for any animal. I always advise animal guardians to consult with their Veterinarian before starting any complementary therapy.

Testimonials

Phoenix & Lisa Wackett

Sharon has been extremely insightful, knowledgeable and helpful when dealing with my daughter’s horse Phoenix.

He is by nature a complex, complicated and anxious character who oozes personality but struggles coming into the stable alone (to be tacked up and ridden) or overnight for the winter. He could work himself into a frenzy almost cantering around the stable, barging, spinning and making it at times impossible to tack up or groom him.

Sharon took the time to find out about him and get to know him so that she could look at ways to help us and make him less anxious. He received two courses of sessions, and she recommended a change to supplements which have worked fantastically. He is more settled in himself, less anxious and is like a different horse. He can now come in, be tacked up and groomed without incident.

I believe you need to be invested in the process and be willing to listen and follow the instructions to get the full benefit but if you are then it could be life changing for your family.

Lucas & Rachelle

My horse, Lucas, became very agitated and started to get very stressed when stabled. This was a new issue for him as in the 14 years I’ve owned him he’s always been happy to be stabled. My vet was unable to suggest a solution, so I sought Sharon’s help. I was sceptical about self-selection and hadn’t really expect it to make much of a difference to Lucas. How wrong I was.

Watching Lucas select the oils he needed was fascinating and within a couple of days I started to notice that he was less agitated and much more relaxed. He started indicating that he wanted to come in to his stable and a couple of weeks after starting sessions I stabled him overnight. When I returned early the following morning, I was amazed to find that he was lying down and snoring away.
Lucas appears to be much happier and more relaxed than he was before starting treatment with Sharon. He is a lot less spooky when being ridden and appears to be enjoying being stabled again. I’m very grateful to Sharon for all her help in making Lucas a happier horse. Thank you!

Parker & Malana

I have known Sharon for many years.  She is always my “go too” when I have any questions or concerns about my horse’s health as she is very knowledgeable.  I also think that her holistic and “au natural” approach is great.  I have definitely learnt from Sharon that less is more!  As horse owners we do have a tendency to interfere too much and don’t give our horses the credit that they deserve when it comes to feeding.

My 20 year old horse, Parker, is very stoic so can be difficult to read at times.  He has a history of ulcers and when coming into the winter he can hyper-salivate especially if there is lack of grass.  Sharon undertook an assessment of Parker and recommended that I introduce a number of herbs to his diet, which were to be fed for the short term.  She also suggested that I change from haylage to hay.  I noticed an improvement within days and Parker seemed much happier in himself.  I have also changed Parker’s hard feed so that it is organic as opposed to synthetic which has also made a huge difference.

I would highly recommend Sharon as she is passionate about what she does and explains everything clearly.

Kenai, Amy & Liam

Sharon assessed our nervous boy earlier this year. Her assessment was succinct and scarily accurate. Kenai’s response to his oils was instant and shockingly positive. He was really interactive with them. We followed Sharon’s clear instructions and are over the moon to report a dog that once couldn’t walk out the house without being reactive has today achieved his first day out meeting Santa Paws at a local garden centre with one minor reactive outburst. A huge improvement from a few short months ago. I can’t wait to see how he does at his reassessment, to see what has changed and what his next steps are in his journey. We couldn’t be more thankful for your help – Liam, Amy & Kenai
